The Commonwealth Bank had an outage that lasted 18 hours, affecting hundreds of thousands of Australians with no word of any sort of compensation, just their hollow "apologies". Many Australians we're left without petrol, holding up supermarket lines, some even unable to pay rent or feed themselves and their families. The CBA thinks that they can apologise their way out of this crucial mistake, yet when anybody overdraws $2 or is 5 seconds late on a repayment then we cop late fees. It's time to stand up and show the CBA that it's time to pay up, or there's a lot of unhappy customers switching banks.
