Hi, everyone: Well, we thought there'd be response and fences taken down. NADA. No official has responded and now NYC Parks is erecting more wire fences in Cobble Hill Park - Just TODAY - right in the middle where the grassy area is. We've written to NYC Parks - suggest you write to mitchell.silver@nyc.parks.gov or martin.maher@parks.nyc.gov to complain if you want change! Plan? Worker says to put fence to prevent anyone from running around the entire circle - so grass can grow. That means kids and all of us. Grass looked fine the past few years... If you don't want the fences, please act and contact NYC Parks - and Councilman Brad Lander and whomever you can speak to. Wow - more wire fences for kids to cut themselves on and to block access to taxpayers and renters.
