Help s.w. Kelvin Walker, rightfully get his job back!

Help s.w. Kelvin Walker, rightfully get his job back!
The Issue
On March 15th, 2016, s.w. Kelvin Walker, an employee for over 16 years, was terminated by the Department of Sanitation of New York. s.w. Kelvin Walker was on commissioners probation and reaching the end of its term, had served admirable. He was placed on commissioners probation for "excessive sick leaves", despite the fact that we have unlimited sick. In the time s.w. Walker was on probation, he had gone from "C" category to "A" category, had not had any disciplinary incidents, accidents or safety infractions. His lone blemish, during this time, was an "AWOL" that was witnessed by many other Sanitation workers and officers, to be untrue. The department responded in a harsh and truly draconian fashion by terminating s.w. Walker. We, find this truly disturbing. Seeing the vast improvement in his attendance, Continued emphasis on hard work and service to the citizens of new york, that he would be cast away so easily and arbitrarily. These signatures are to show you that we support our brother in his time of need and feel he deserves another chance. Thank you
