Commission the 47th Presidential Portrait as a Criminal Mug Shot

The Issue

This issue holds a personal connection to me, as I firmly believe in representing our history authentically. With that in mind, I urge you to support a call to commission the official presidential portrait for the 47th President in the style of a criminal mug shot.

The standards of our presidential portraits have historically been stoic, gleaming with prestige, and demonstrating the honor associated with the highest office of the land.

However, in the spirit of sincerity and true documentation of history, it’s essential that we embrace a change this time.

While this may seem drastic or hyperbolic to some, it is an accurate representation given to future generations compelling them to recognize the reality of the 2024 election.

We should not shy away from the truth, no matter how uncomfortable. The history books should not whitewash the darker moments but instead recognize them, ensuring our successors learn and grow from them.

Ultimately, this isn't about shaming anyone or encouraging divisiveness. It's about the importance of acknowledging our past and portraying it accurately.
