Dead birds have been turning up all over campus as of late. On sidewalks, in bushes, in the grass--they're everywhere! I wasn't sure why they were dying until I watched a brown thrasher suffering from all the symptoms of pesticide poisoning, which they can develop from eating poisoned insects. We would like to ask CSU to stop using chemical pesticides or switch to bird-friendly pesticides to save our campus bird population.
