We are requesting to reinstate Mr. Andrew Carr at Hilltonia Middle School in Columbus City Schools.  We believe he was wrongfully suspended due to his actions.  Andrew Carr is a gentle teacher, that has changed countless lives throughout his nearly 10 years at Hilltonia Middle School and 16 years in Columbus City Schools.  He has taught the students with a technique they carry into high school and college.  Andrew Carr has worked with students on his personal time.  He has assisted students after hours and evenings before tests just to make sure they understand the concept.  He is a role model for many and a father figure to most.  By not reinstating Andrew Carr, we believe, that Columbus City Schools is losing an asset, not only to the district, but to the school and community.  Mr. Carr enjoys his students and they enjoy learning from him.  We feel that by not reinstating him, we will not get the same education.  Andrew Carr is a huge loss to current, former and future students and parents.  We are requesting that you reverse the resignation and allow Andrew Carr to come back to Hilltonia Middle school and the students that he has inspired so much.
