Willow A started this petition to People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) and

At the Chapel Hills mall, there is a store called Pet city. When I went there, I noticed that they had too many dogs crammed into one little area, and that the animals appeared depressed and sad. But that's not the worst part, the worst part comes in when I noticed one of the many dogs in that small enclosure trying to get water from one of the water containers that they had in the enclosure. Only to find that it was empty, and the dogs attempt to drink was in vain. I notified one of the people that worked there that seemed to be interacting with the dogs, but all she told me ( in a rather short and mean manner ) was that "I know, they're about to go into the back for the night " I want to mention, that I'm not stupid, and could clearly tell that those dogs had been without water for most, or all of the day. I was there at night, and it had been dry a very long time. There were no food bowls at all. I think it's unfair and cruel to the animals, especially considering that she didn't go get them water after I said something. Nobody did. And it was not near closing time yet. I would like to first find all these animals good loving homes, but then have this awful store shut down so no more animals have to go through what these did. Please! Please, do not support these stores. They don't really care, and are not good to the animals. Join me, in saving these animals, and anymore that would follow if this place stays open! Thank you. God bless
