MR Perry started this petition to Colorado State Legislature

This petition seeks to plead with the Colorado state legislature to institute laws protecting the unborn children, laws which do not exist at present.

According to NARAL Pro-Choice Colorado: "Colorado is one of the few states where a late abortion can be obtained. Outpatient abortion is available up to 26 weeks. In addition, medically indicated termination of pregnancy up to 34 weeks is also an option for conditions such as fetal anomalies, genetic disorder, fetal demise and/or or severe medical problems."

Also, there are no gestational limits for those wishing to obtain a late-term abortion in the state of Colorado.

Planned Parenthood is the largest provider of abortion in the United States, performing 333,964 abortions in 2011 according to its annual report. Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains at 7155 E. 38th Ave. in Denver is the organization’s second largest facility.

Ultrasounds demonstrate that the child in the womb has all the DNA and all the structure of a separate human being. Let us beckon the state government to address this atrocity of protecting the most innocent and the most vulnerable in our society.

Other states have implemented a "heartbeat" law to protect the lives of an unborn child when the heartbeat is detected (approximately six weeks). Colorado should follow suit.

All lives matter!
