On December 14, 2016, the Colorado Parks and Wildlife Commission approved plans to kill hundreds of cougars and black bears in a misguided attempt to boost mule deer populations. This approval came despite many thousands of citizens, including you, speaking out against the plans and letters from leading scientists and scholars plainly stating that the plans are not based in science and will fail. WildEarth Guardians shares your outrage and has filed its third lawsuit this month to stop the slaughter. Now it is time to ask Governor Hickenlooper to recognize not only the value of wild places to the state’s economy but also the intrinsic value of wildlife by canceling these plans and stopping the slaughter. Please act today, click on the link to sign the letter or enter this URL: https://bit.ly/2ulwiOm. For the Wild, Katya Jolly URL for the action: https://bit.ly/2ulwiOm
