HS Volleyball is moving to the Spring which is the same season as Club Volleyball.  Most HS players also play Club so therefore most HS teams will not even exist. Polis clearly does NOT understand the importance of youth sports.  These kids are getting bored and making bad decisions.  Youth sports keep kids in school and focused on succeeding in class.  They keep kids fit and well in a society where childhood obesity is already a problem.  They are less likely to drink and smoke. They are able to build relationships with teammates that last a lifetime.  Youth sports help them make and maintain goals.  They teach them about failure and loss.  Adversity!!  Please don't take this part of them away.
