Save and Protect Colorado Rivers

If rivers, streams and lakes that we swim, fish, and obtain drinkable water get effected by Oil Spills, Chemical waste, Pollution, and Ashes, it can effect many of those activities and lead to a crisis for drinkable water.

Polluting Industries have put Colorado's water supply in great danger by trying to weaken our Clean Water Act ever since it was passed, paying lots of money for lawyers, creating weaknesses in the act. This has left more than half of America's streams, rivers, and lakes full of pollution, killing fish and diminishing our water supply as a whole.

Those half a million mines, Earthworks says, have produced 50 billion tons of untreated, unreclaimed mining wastes on public and private land. The report notes that wastes can include arsenic, asbestos, cadmium, copper, cyanide, iron, lead, mercury and sulfur, among other material, and produce airborne pollutants making rivers unusable for fresh water source.

We all want to swim, fish, and have a great time being at our beautiful rivers, streams, and lakes.  We need clean water to drink that comes right from our home town, but with all the pollution, soon we might not have enough.   We need to get rid of pollution in our rivers, streams, and lakes; otherwise, what is the use of having them if we can't have fun being outdoors.

Lets come together as a whole and put an end to this pollution issue in our environment!
