Minna Castillo Cohen - Office of CHILDREN, YOUTH, & FAMILIES and Joseph Homlar - CHILD WELFARE need to be removed from their positions immediately!!!!! THIS IS NOT TO BE IGNORED! Neglecting a CHILD is never ok! And removing children that have never been abused is emotionally harmful to CHILDREN & FAMILIES. I personally sat down with both of them and DEMANDED someone be held accountable for my children missing over 2 weeks of school in FOSTER CARE and my children staying there after there was a police report of my 5 year old daughter saying she was hit by an adult male in FOSTER CARE. I Have never abused my children! My case is the meaning of injustice! How many more families are they allowing the department to tortment? And by tortment I mean this happened to me because my family endured 6 careless investigations all within a year NOT ONE OPEN CASE! I stood up for my family when they came for number 7 and they took my babies twice! The first time without a court order for removal. I got them back 4 days later for them to come back a month later and take them again! My oldest child had a panic attack and left in an ambulance the first illegal removal. The second time she tried to attack the caseworker and supervisor because they lied to my kids telling them they would never remove them again! Traumatized is not the word! I am a law abiding citizen and was raising productive members of society. My son was a 5th grade valedictorian. Our family did not deserve this at all! Minna Castillo Cohen and Joseph Homlar see no problem with what the department has done to my family! I even took some accountability for the investigations and protested in front of my residence proposing a community goal for people to stop using CPS as a weapon because that's how I got in this. My family has suffered permanent damages from the Department. My children missed their grandma's funeral, she will not die again! When I first contacted Minna Castillo Cohen she told me she would forward my email to the correct party! When I protested outside her building Kevin from legislation came out and told me she was who I needed to speak with about my issues. I said "well that can't be because I've been talking to her for months and she said she would forward my email to the correct party!!!" Stuff like this should not be going on so nonchalant as if you are not dealing with CHILDREN, YOUTH and FAMILIES! There is no excuse for this! This is a stiff price to pay for NOT abusing my CHILDREN! And have to watch FOSTER CARE NEGLECT THEM! Please help me reach out to Michelle Barnes CDHS and show her the people behind these trusted badges! Their negligence is a huge threat and danger to CHILDREN, YOUTH, and FAMILIES. If this happens so easily to a law abiding citizen raising productive members of society I can only imagine what is happening to other Colorado families.
