Why this petition matters

The band British band "Bring Me the Horizon" has demonized spiritual artwork that belongs to the Bhaktivedanta Book Trust. The goal is to have them apologize and change their album artwork for future reprintings.

Their newest album "Post Human: Survival Horror" mimics the original artwork of Lord Krishna and his friends having lunch. Lord Krishna is a highly esteemed and respected God. This band has demonized a picture of Lord Krishna with his friends and accompanies it with disturbing explicit music from their album (which can be seen on their Instagram @bringmethehorizon). This is clearly cultural appropriation. Moreover, this band has taken original artwork for it belongs to the Bhaktivedanta Book Trust International, Inc.

This situation is very upsetting to all the followers of Lord Krishna, who primarily belong to Vaishnavism and Hinduism. We may not have a big following like Christianity, but I believe we still deserve rights and respect for our faith. I personally am disgusted by the artwork that "Bring Me the Horizon" has created. This is clearly a case of cultural appropriation and disrespect. This band has taken unauthorized inspiration from original ISKCON artwork.

I am asking you all to sign this position in hopes that "Bring Me the Horizon" can apologize and remove their artwork for future reprintings of their mini album. Please share to others!!! You can also leave comments on the band's social media. An apology is due to ISKCON, Hindus, and International Krishna followers and stopping of this artwork reprintings is crucial.
