Research shows that playgrounds are important for the emotional, mental, social, and physical wellbeing of children. According to the CDC Depression and Anxiety is increasing among children and 1 in 5 children in the US are overweight or obese.

In the summer months, Naples, Fl has rain and thunderstorms on an almost daily basis. These are the same months that most elementary school-aged children are home from school. During the rainy season, parents have little to no indoor options for their children to participate in physical or social activities.

There are 31 elementary schools in the Collier County School District and an increasing number of children aged 2-5.

All of these children have a need for physical activity during the summer months and working-class parents want a place where they can take their children on a frequent basis without having to pay a high daily rate. 

Many families have decided to make Naples their home and there is a want for more child-centered facilities and we believe that creating an indoor play area is a great start.
