With many universities and schools closing their campuses for the remainder of the semester due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the health centers and labs on campus will no longer have use for their personal protective equipment equipment (PPE). PPE includes masks, gloves, gowns, and goggles. As the threat of the pandemic increases by the day, the medical supplies are depleting quickly and are needed now more than ever. Nurses, doctors, EMTs, and other healthcare workers are on the front lines and need this protective gear to continue fighting COVID-19. A significant amount of universities and schools have switched to online learning to help flatten the curve and slow down the transmission of the virus. Those universities and schools who will no longer have use for their PPE should do their part to assist the community and donate any medical supplies to local hospitals and health care providers to those treating patients infected with COVID-19. Our friends, family, and medical professionals in our community need these essential medical materials in order to provide the highest level of care for patients, while also maintaining their own health and safety.  Now more than ever we need to come together as a country in a continued fight to support those who support us the most. Together we can all do our part!
