For years, the reputation of Beattie Animal Hospital Brantford,  has consisted of nothing but horror stories of poor treatment or lack there of, lack of communication, over charging, treatment without consent, and poor customer service; enough for the Brantford community to consistently verbalize its lack of trust in this Animal hospital. Personally, in 2021, I was terminated from this clinic directly following a customer service complaint email I sent. I was told over the phone for 2 days that my cat would recieve a second round of his already prescribed antibiotics as he continues to be very congested STILL finding it dificult to breathe and we would receive a call when the medication was ready for pickup.  However, on the 3rd day they stated they had no record of our communication; upon request of my 3 pets medical records (which I recieved sameday with my letter of termination), BEATTIE ANIMAL HOSPITAL legally documented in my cat's medical record that he had clear nasal sounds and clear lungs; very disheartening as I know that he had crackling lung sounds bilateral which was the reason for the initial appointment. Immediately I brought my cat to the emergency vet (day of termination), inwhich, I was told my cat had severe pneumonia, he is suffering and it is best to put him to rest. Truely, take into consideration signing this petition, to bring the College of Veterinarians of Ontario to Brantford Beattie Animal Hospital to do a full review of this clinic, I have lived in Brantford my whole life and the reputation of this facility has yet to change its just unfortunate my poor cat had to find out the hard way; please keep sharing your stories and remember, it's not defamation of character it's its true.
