Collective Protest Against ETS' Cancellation of TOEFL & GRE Scores

The Issue

We, the undersigned, are writing to express our collective concern regarding the recent cancellation of TOEFL and GRE scores by ETS. It has come to our attention that a significant number of individuals have had their scores cancelled, even though they received their results without issue and many have already been accepted into academic programs. We believe that this is a clear violation of human rights and a detriment to the personal and professional lives of those affected.

As a group of individuals who have been impacted by this situation, we condemn this action by ETS and demand clear explanations and clarification from the organization. Sending a single email text to multiple individuals without providing a valid reason is unacceptable and disregards the individuality of each person. We are not anonymous numbers, but rather individual test-takers who put our trust in ETS, and we deserve to be treated with respect and dignity.

We call upon ETS to either return the scores or provide a detailed report with acceptable evidence on a case-by-case basis. Furthermore, we are deeply concerned that this issue has only affected Iranian test-takers, which could be considered an act of discrimination. If this claim is proven true, we demand that the relevant authorities intervene and take appropriate action to ensure that such discriminatory behavior is not repeated.
