As American citizens demand racial justice and the dismantling of racist systems in education, health care, politics, government, and all other sectors of life, the undersigned demand that Colgate University continue its dedication to racial justice by revoking the acceptance of incoming freshman,  .  posted an incredibly racist video on Tik Tok that made light of slavery, as an audio played “let’s go shopping” after panning to the words “african americans.” Colgate responded to the recent protests with the condemnation of any form of racial injustice in their digital communications. In order for Colgate to maintain its stance against racism, the institution must hold this individual accountable. A link to the video is listed directly below.
