Keep Queensland strawberries on the shelf! This is the most important time in the year for Queensland strawberry farmers, and removing all berries from an isolated incident is the wrong thing to do.

The public cannot get to the farmgate to buy the berries, and this will have a devastating impact on next year's crop.

Picking will stop, and the plants will not continue throwing fruit for the rest of the season.

This is a time to maintain the normal buying price, regardless of the wholesale pricing dropping, to support Queensland farmers!
