It's our right as consumers to know what we are buying! We have the right to choose whether we support halal certification and the resulting fees for certification that support Islamic causes. We should not be financially supporting any organisation unknowingly. In the same way we can choose to buy organic, or free range eggs, we should be able to decide to buy halal or not. It is unfair to not label it thus removing our choice.
