The circulating supply of Shiba Inu token suddenly increased by close to 200 Trillion SHIB, causing a massive price drop; discrepancies between price-tracking websites are creating confusion for Shiba Inu current Coin holders and new buyers.

CoinMarketCap currently is listing Shiba Inu in circulation 549,095,509,738,353 SHIB, this is an increase of 155 trillion from its previous listing of 394,796,000,000,000.

Other sites like CoinGecko followed CoinMarketCap change causing fluctuations of nearly 40% led to confusion, fear, and a lot of misinformation.

The official Shiba Twitter account shared an alleged conversation with CoinMarketCap, where the CoinMarketCap said this was an engineering bug.

At the time of writing this petition, the price has not been fixed causing even more frustration and disappointment.

SHIB Inu is a community-based coin, and its success is largely dependent on the success and growth of its transparency, community and utility.

Hence, we request CoinMarketCap to fix Shiba’s circulating supply ASAP and publish a formal apology for the Shiba holders community.
