When I became a U.S. citizen on November 8, 2016, I took an oath to support and defend the U.S. Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic, and swore to bear true faith and allegiance to the United States. Today, I feel that our Constitution is being violated by top officials who are unwilling to acknowledge the cognitive impairment of President Donald Trump.

For years, there have been public concerns and observable signs regarding Trump's ability to perform the duties of his office. Now, more than ever, these concerns are being overshadowed by a more sinister plot: the push for Project 2025, an agenda that undermines the Constitutional decree of checks and balances among the three branches of the federal government.

In a shocking move, members of Trump's cabinet have removed transcripts and other essential records of his speeches from government websites. This strategic erasure seeks to cover up his incoherent rhetoric, highlighting a glaring lack of cognitive ability expected from anyone holding the nation’s highest office. This not only puts our democracy at risk but also signals a dangerous precedent wherein reality and fact are bent for the aims of specific interests.

The 25th Amendment provides a constitutional remedy for when a President cannot discharge the powers and duties of their office. By invoking it, we can ensure that the highest levels of our government remain competent and transparent. Trump’s cabinet and associated congressional officials who continue to hide his impairment are derelict in their duty to the American people and should be held criminally liable.

Our country cannot afford to overlook these grave concerns. We must demand accountability from those sworn to uphold our constitution. I urge you to stand with me in invoking the 25th Amendment for Donald Trump and to insist that his cabinet and congressional backers are held accountable for their actions.
