PETITION: URGENT NEIGHBORHOOD COCKROACH INFESTATION

We, the undersigned residents, are requesting immediate attention and assistance regarding a severe cockroach infestation affecting multiple homes and neighborhoods in our community near Wetlands Park.

Residents have reported seeing large numbers of cockroaches inside and outside their homes. This appears to be affecting multiple properties and is not an isolated household issue.

We have contacted 311 for assistance and were advised to reach out to local news organizations because additional public attention may be necessary to get the appropriate agencies to investigate and address the situation.

We are asking for:

- An investigation into the possible source of the infestation. 

- Appropriate city/county and pest-control agencies to assess the affected areas.

- Investigation of whether construction, vacant properties, landscaping, sewer/drainage issues, or another source may be contributing to the problem.

- Assistance protecting the health, safety, and quality of life of affected residents.
