I believe Santa has become a symbol for consumerism and him being dressed in Red was a marketing decision by the Coca Cola company. I think Santa needs to get back to his roots, as a spirit from Nature. Santa can make a difference in a world devastated by climate change and lost in values of greed and waste. By wearing Green and encourage a Green Christmas spirit he can develop new values for the next generations. A Green Santa will spread a more responsible present giving, recycling, upcycling and eventually making rather than only buying and buying. Please make Santa Great Again.
