Dasani bottle water, is a brand under Coca Cola. When people take their sip of water they don't understand what the bottle has gone through and it effects. Along with the terrible environmental effects (usage of fossil fuels, oil spills etc.), Dasani ruins the lives of people. Now, the water in Dasani comes from one of two places: your local tap, or the village of Kala Dera. This Indian village has had their water wells privatized by Coca Cola. The water which is rightfully theirs has been taken away. The results of these criminal acts: 1.5 million liters of deep well water bottled into your water bottle and a village ransacked of their water. Earlier in 2004 Coca Cola shut down there plant in Plachimada, now help shut down their plant in Kala Dera.
