I believe that Coatesville's RDA should award Derrick Morgan & Investment Group the opportunity to develop the area called the Flats into a Sports Complex. Derek Morgan is a retired Tennessee Titan football player who is a Coatesville native son. Derek played for the Coatesville Red Raiders Football Team. Derek along with his group see the opportunity zone as an excellent opportunity to invest in our fledgling town while also providing social impact that will help raise our community out of our economic doldrums while also giving those in our community a renewed sense of pride. The fear of Gentrification due to the impending revitalization will be further fueled if a diverse group of Derek and the KNGDM group is ignored. This Sports Complex project is not centered on just bringing in people from all over Pa, but including those right here in Coatesville. A Complex that's inclusive as opposed to exclusive. The other's vying for approval are a Velodrome & a Minor League Baseball Team. With all due respect as we attempt to widen our appeal to other areas it's important for the venue that's developed have local appeal as well, and I believe that a velodrome and baseball venue will not.
