Each November the Cool Insuring Arena in Glens Falls hosts the Adirondack Stampede Charity Rodeo. Unfortunately, this rodeo features an event called "calf roping" which involves a person lassoing a calf by their neck at high speeds and then restraining the animal by tying 3 of their legs together. This causes stress and sometimes injury to the 2 to 3-month old calf, who of course does not consent to the activity.

If you are opposed to this practice, please sign this petition to help build momentum for a calf-roping ban within the city limits of Glens Falls. The local animal rights group Coalition of Animal Rights Enthusiasts will take this petition to the Glens Falls Common Council and present the case against calf roping. Thank you.
