Some of you have been calling and asking about the donations on Change.org. Many of you were under the impression that the donations go to our family, but they do not. The funds collected through Change.org support their platform, not us.

If you donated by mistake, please go back to Change.org and request a refund directly through their website. I’ve already contacted them, and they confirmed that refund requests must be made by the donor.

This petition is only for signatures, not donations. Your signature is what helps decision makers see the support for honoring my father.

Please continue to share the petition, share a memory about my dad, and encourage others to sign, especially those who live in Broward County, Florida, as their signatures will be verified.
