We must take action for our future. My petition is to change the age of ability to run for President and Vice President from 35 to 30. This law has been governed for over two hundred and thirty years. It has stunted our ability to move forward in the future. 1787 has no idea what 2020 looks like. We have abided by this law long enough. As much as we respect our elders and take their wisdom and guidance into consideration, their old views can not lead us into a prosperous future. Our leaders have showed to us they do not respect us nor the future generations to come. Corporations comes before community. Profits over people. Economy over environment. Have our leaders lost their morals? This country was a role model to the world. The man that sits in one of the most prestigious seats in the world has ruined the image of such a position. How does a man who lacks empathy and compassion for life run a country? Has the dollar blinded us? Its belief is an illusion. What is a dollar if there is no clean water? What is a dollar if there is no agriculture to grow on? What is a dollar if you can not breathe clean air? It is our millennial generation who cares about the destruction that is happening in front of our eyes by the people in power who place money and greed over values and our planet. And it is our generations children who will be affected by this. We lost track of what is important. We let our elders guide us long enough. It is time for us to clean up the mess that is left for us to come. Clearly our leaders can care less so we must act now. This world depends on it. Don't destroy what took hundred of thousands of years to create in less than 100. We must be able to hand down the torch to our children. Don't strip them of that. Sign my petition.
