The mainstream news networks continue to present Hillary Clinton as the preordained Democratic Party nominee for president. In doing so they are marginalizing Bernie Sanders' vibrant campaign and his rapidly growing influence and popularity. Americans want to see this presidential primary race play out and provide a full debate on the issues. We do not want a coronation. It is not only healthy for American democracy but will make the news reports much more interesting. So please:

• Do not marginalize Bernie Sanders' campaign to second rate status;
• Please give the Democratic Party candidates more equal coverage in your reporting.

Remember that back in 2007, few people would have given a black candidate named Barack Hussein Obama much of a chance to win the Democratic Party nomination, or the presidency.
