A twisted idea of a Heritage Road along the edge of Kukkarahalli Lake has been taken up by the city authorities, ignoring the significant ecological damage to the surrounding area. Increased road accidents on one stretch of the road have been cited as the reason for this, but there are several measures to remedy this particular problem that are smarter and less ecocidal.

As this amounts to a grave error on part of the seemingly ignorant state authorities, the project must be abandoned in favor of better alternatives.
