Withdraw transfer order, of IFS officer RFO Ganesh Rao, who was posted as the Range Forest Officer in Bannerghatta has now been ordered to serve at the Karnataka Rubber Board office in Sulia.
Mr. Ganesh was known for his uprightness and stood up to political pressures with regards to encroachments and other illegalities, he has not even served the minimum six months’ period in his current position. Transfer order by the CM of Karnataka has been issued at the behest of the greedy encroachment and the mining mafia. Within a short span of time he was successful in gaining the confidence of the communities living along the forest and reducing man- animal conflicts. Mr.Ganesh's tranfer order has come following his strict actions against encroachment and quarrying in his range in Bannerghatta. As we all Bangalorians know that Bannerghatta is the National park bordering Bangalore. With growing realestate business in the name of development of Bangalore, real estate and mining mafia is working with some of the political fertinity. Hence officers like Mr.Ganesh rao are required, who fearlessly work on to uphold law, so that atleat the small patch of lung space is protected and preserved for us.
