Maharashtra Govt take action against Corrupt Builders

Many International Reports have highlighted that Real Estate is the most corrupt Business in India. Daily News papers are filled with news of corrupt real estate business. The primary goal of your Government has been to fight corruption, however Real Estate Business continues to be Corrupt. The MAHA-RERA has not effectively punished corrupt builders. Many builders continue to submit false and incomplete information to MAHA RERA. There lakhs of old Real Estate Projects which are not under MAHA-RERA and the flat buyers are left helpless. Like in the past, even today the builders have no fear of law or punishment.
Under such circumstances, we have the following questions and suggestions:
- Implement MOFA for Old Projects: Why is Government changing provisions MOFA (Maharashtra Ownership Flats Act) enacted in 1963 to not take criminal action against corrupt Builders ? (No Change to MOFA) What about the Old Projects that do not come under RERA ?
- Take Criminal Action: Why no criminal action is taken against builders for compromising the safety of poor laborers ? Are Laborers life is cheap? (Arrest Corrupt Builders)
- File FIR's: Why no criminal action is taken by Police against Builders for cheating innocent Flat Buyers ? Even today, Police refuse to file FIR's and not arrests are made. (Take Sou Moto action against Builders).
- Make MAHA-RERA effective: Why does MAHA-RERA Concillation forum has members that are partial to the builders cause? We recommend you to appoint members of Akhil Bhartiya Grahak Panchyat and Renowned activists like Shri Vijay Khumbar to the concillation forum.
- Scrap Apartment/Condominium/Association: Builders are forcing Apartment/Condominium on Flat owners. Builders want to gain control over the FSI, Land and amenities. Builders want to live like parasites on the hard earned money of Flat owners
- Do Auto Society formation and Auto Conveyance Deed: Reducing the number of documents for Society formation, giving press notes on Deemed Conveyance is not working. Lakhs of Apartments do not have a legal Society formed and Lakhs of Apartments do have a Conveyance deed. Make the builder responsible for Society and Conveyance because he has sold the flats. Pass a law for Automatic Society formation and Auto Conveyance Deed should be part of the Completion certificate.
Maximum cases in courts are against Real Estate cheating and frauds committed by builders. Builders delay possession, don't form co-op society , they don't pass conveyance of the land, steal the society Maintenance Money, murder citizens.... Real Estate has become Mafia and a parallel government.
Politician- Real Estate Nexus:
Over 70% of the candidates who stand for elections are connected with Real Estate. Most politicians primary business is Real Estate and land deals. The citizens know that the Real Estate is Politics and Politics is Real Estate. Voters will give their answers when these political parties and politicians come asking for votes. Nexus between Builders-Politicians is clear to all citizens.
Prime Minister Shri Modi Dream of Housing for All:
Prime Minister Shri Modi Dream of Housing for all cannot be fulfilled by a corrupt Real Estate Business. India and Maharashtra's growth cannot be built on the foundations of a corrupt real Estate Business. India Cities are examples of Urban Decay because of this Corrupt Real Estate. Today Indian Democracy is run by Real Estate. We request you to send a STRONG MESSAGE to CORRUPT REAL ESTATE Businessmen and Politicians. The 2019 Elections main Agenda will "Roti, Kapada, Makaan". Makaan stands for Real Estate. The Goal is to clean up the Housing and Real Estate Business and save the life time earnings of Indian Citizens.
