Students all around the UK have suffered and so have we.

With the constant changes in government policies and with multiple Universities and Student Accommodation Companies refunding and reducing rent payments for students all over the UK it is easy for us as students that have chosen to spend their money and live in Campus Living Villages to feel completely disregarded.

Many of us have travelled from different towns, cities and countries to attend university this year with the hopes that we would actually need to stay in the city and be able to also visit our universities both of which, personally (and I know I also speak for MOST) I haven’t needed. It’s easy for us as students to feel as though we have been SCAMMED and ripped-off not only by the very government that we adhere to but also the companies (CLV) we have supported and paid money to. WHY haven’t we been considered? Many, many other accommodations have helped and supported their customers - Student Roost, QUB and also we have heard (as students living in Albert Court - Liverpool) that students living in the Salford CLV accommodation have been refunded during these times. We shouldn’t have to kick up a fuss to be heard?

Put simply, it is ridiculous that we are expected to pay for months of living in an accommodation that we have not needed to live in and have also been advised NOT to live in or travel to. On TOP of this it is incredibly difficult to find jobs at the minute and many of us are struggling because our money is being wasted on MONTHS of rent payments that we haven’t needed. 

We, as the students in Liverpool - Albert Court -  demand a refund/reduction in payment of rent for the reasons stated above.
