Cheyenne Benthin lost her son to a febrile seizure in July 2023; days after this tragic loss, her daughter was taken from her custody due to an open investigation into the death of her son. After two autopsies ruling the baby boys' death as a natural cause in October 2023, this case remains open with Gilbert Police Department. The prolonging of this case is impacting the life of this little girl, who not only lost her brother but her mom as well. Cheyenne has not only lost both of her children but she is a victim being treated as a suspect by Gilbert Police Department due to their mishandling and mistreatment.
