Thank you so much for your support so far, it means so much to us all as a community and it's humbling to know that there are so many of us that want Clacton to be everything it can be for the residents that live here and a safer place to live.

We are gathering a good momentum with the petition.

The local paper (Gazette) and the the Daily Mirror have taken an interest in our petition, but before I speak with them, we still need more signatures for it to make a difference and an impact so that we to be listened to and heard.

We really need your help.

Please share the petition link to everyone that you know.

We cannot take this lightly.

Essex Highways do not care if they are putting the local residents and communities at risk by wanting to reopen the alleyways that are were notorious crime hotspots. They have no legal ownership to these alleyways. Attempting to force a reopen is nothing short of condoning the criminal behaviour, that has now dissipated.

Tendring District Councillors are not interested in supporting this publicly, and have just passed it off as an Essex County Council problem.  And I can assure you that everyone of them has been copied into in email correspondence and have all been made aware over the past 2 years of the issues .

The Essex County Councillor, Cllr Michael Skeels, don't care either. It seems that  would rather put the community at risk, condone the crime activity than stand for what is right for the residents and constituents.

We should not have to live in fear in our own homes and we should not have to put up with drug dealing and drug taking on our doorsteps and the crime that these unadopted alleyways attract.

I am sure if any of these councillor's lived next to one of those alleyways , they would care then, and would be shut down in a flash.

Thank you so much for your continued support.

Please, please continue to share the petition

Thank you.
