I am a passionate animal advocate, and I am using my voice to speak for those who cannot speak for themselves. The treatment of the animals at Jackson Zoo is sickening and inhumane — it cannot continue. Immediate action is needed.

I grew up visiting this zoo and have seen firsthand what it was once meant to be: a place of wonder and care for animals. Today, it is heartbreaking and disheartening to witness the decline. The animals — tigers, cougars, rhinos, ostriches, and more — are malnourished, living in deteriorating and unsafe enclosures, and clearly suffering.

These animals deserve protection, proper care, and safety. Jackson Zoo has failed them for too long. We demand that authorities take immediate action to shut down the zoo and ensure these animals are relocated to safe, accredited facilities where they can live free from neglect.

No animal should ever have to endure this. It is time for justice, accountability, and action — the animals cannot wait any longer.
