The Issue

CJUSD schools are staying open even though the Riverside fire is causing heavy smoke and unhealthy air quality. This is a serious issue because students and staff are being forced to breathe dangerous air that can cause coughing, headaches, asthma attacks, and other health problems. Schools should close in the mean time while the fire is being is being contained and air conditions improve.
