Our petition has finally caught the attention of one news organization in Playa Del Carmen. It is Called noticias Macronews, yesterday they wrote an article about our cause and it has caught the attention of over 1,000 people. The article is in Spanish so linked bellow is it in english.

The World Wildlife Protection Association has requested that federal authorities shut down Animalandia Maya Park, located in Playa del Carmen, due to alleged practices of animal abuse and mistreatment.

In a statement, the organization denounced that this tourist attraction displays rare and endangered animal cubs. They also claimed that the park offers illegal substances to tame tigers, which are given to the many tourists visiting the site.

The association emphasized that only around 5,000 tigers remain in the world, making it crucial to allow these species to reproduce in peace instead of being exploited and mistreated.

Additionally, they accused poachers and zoo caretakers of owning a large portion of endangered animals, demanding an end to animal abuse in such establishments.

The international organization stressed that the Mexican government should be ashamed that Animalandia Maya continues to operate. They warned that people involved in animal trafficking and abuse are present throughout Mexico, calling for their arrest and prosecution.

They also revealed that the park has tried to avoid complaints by banning photography within its facilities. However, many tourists have managed to discreetly capture images to warn and educate others, urging them not to visit this place.
