We want Bridgend Council to reverse its decision to withdraw from national pay bargaining
We want Bridgend Council to reverse its decision to withdraw from national pay bargaining
The Issue
On 11th February 2014 Bridgend Council agreed the unprecedented decision of withholding any pay increase for this year. This will leave employees of Bridgend Council the lowest paid local government workers in Wales. By default this initiates local pay bargaining which is unacceptable to an already poorly paid workforce.
