Dear All Thank you to the 1000+ who have booked to come to this meeting tonight, a fourth building with 2 way video to enable everyone to ask a question as well as hear the discussion is being provided. However, Powys being Powys, the LA is still playing dirty tricks. Last night we were told that: 1. The meeting would not be allowed to run beyond 2 hours, we are protesting that that is impractical given that th LA has faield to meet any of us for over a year. 2. Objections to the plan could not be raised as it was a consultation meeting. Complete popycock, we should just ignore it. 3. Councillors will not answer questions as they are there to listen, that will be a first. Perhaps we should offer a prize to the first member of the audience who can provoke a councillor to speak. Perhaps the prize could be dinner with Cllrs Barry Thomas, Arwel Jones & Wynne Jones! No perhaps not. 4. Parking will be a problem because Powys are not making any extra provision, so car sharing, walking and cycling would help. There is street parking on the Three Cocks INDUSTRIAL Estate, outside St Peters, Powys are planning to use the Old Railway Line Car park but they are doing the minimum in the hope of putting people off, don't let them.
