Since the last update, a parent with a child at Gwernyfed has submitted a request for a judicial review focussed on the Powys decision making process in relation to the proposed closure of Gwernyfed High School. We now have to wait for the High Court to decide if it will allow the application to proceed and if it does approve the request, to set a Court date. Thank you to all those who have signed the petition to date and for all the comments which are as important as the numbers of signatures. Can I also thank particularly those parents who have students at Brecon High School and the students from the school who have signed our petition and made comments, we really appreciate your generosity.
