Medway Council should follow numerous other local and national government bodies and the fly rainbow flag at half-mast following a mass shooting at a gay nightclub in Orlando. A total of 49 people were killed, and a further 53 injured, in the deadliest attack in recent US history. the world illuminated with rainbow colours in support of the LBGT community as many held vigils around the globe to mourn the victims of Sunday's deadly attack and many cities across England and the South of England have united behind this terrible trauma in Orlando. No one asked questions in other acts of terrorism, we all stood in support for the dead and injured.
