Force BT Openreach to upgrade Uplyme to Superfast Broadband

Force BT Openreach to upgrade Uplyme to Superfast Broadband

The Issue

This Petition aims to convince BT Openreach that enough people live & work in the "GREY" NOT to Be UPGRADED area of Uplyme, Devon to justify a phone line upgrade for better broadband Internet access

This includes, Woodhouse Hill, Woodhouse Lane, St Marys Lane, Seaview road, Cathole lane, Woodhouse Fields, Holcombe Lane & Cannington Lane, Quarry lane, Gore lane, the A3052 from the Shrubbery caravan park, down to Humble Point, Pinhay Cliffs, Ware Cliffs, Ware lane, Shire lane, Whalley lane, Crogg lane, Tappers Knapp, from the B3165 at the Black Dog all the way along to Church Street, Mill Lane, Pound Lane, Springwell road all the way to the top of Whitty Hill, from just beyond Harcombe Cross all along Harcombe road, and Rhode lane. The whole area can be seen here: http://www.connectingdevonandsomerset.co.uk just type in  your post code to see this area.

We need a better grade of BroadBand Internet, most properties here currently only get 1-2Mb/s at best, with variable quality & frequent outages.

We need & deserve better Internet access, for both work & leisure.

According to my ISP, (Eclipse) IF we get 200+ people (every adult living in the areas, not just households) to support this petition, BT Openreach will be forced to act as we can show that a case exists for them to HAVE to provide a line upgrade to enable better Internet speed for all of us.

Please support this petition if you live in these areas, thank you.
