Need better mental evaluation in jails. Repeat drug offenders need more for their mental health in prisons and jails in Louisiana and all over. Extensive rehab and counceling for long time drug abuse instead of jail. This is for the well being of my husband who has tried suicide more than once. We need better mental care for our loved ones and need to consider therapy and rehab instead of long jail time. Addiction is a disease.
