I have personally set up this petition which will be running until March 2017 to ask Shropshire's Clinical Commissioning Group to keep local emergency health care local & in easy reach of Oswestry & the surrounding areas. If the A&E department at the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital was to be relocated to the Princess Royal Hospital in Telford not only in my opinion it would be to far to expect residents to travel but traveling that extra distance could have serious consequences on the health of the patient(s). Oswestry is the second biggest town in Shropshire & should therefore have a local A&E for not only the town but the surrounding areas. If we were to lose the A&E in Shrewsbury we should have our very own Urgent Care Centre in Oswestry. All I'm trying to do is to try & get the best urgent care for the residents of Oswestry & the surrounding area.
