We support the proposed development of the Park to Park Trail facility which connects 8,000 households with services, recreation facilities, shopping, downtown Smithfield, and each other.  We ask the Edwards, who hired a lawyer and continue to pursue getting the most they can from the County for their property, to settle for a reasonable amount and allow this trail to move forward before we miss the deadline for construction tied to the VDOT grant funding.
