CCF real estate development office finally acknowledged our petition today. I also emailed their media and community outreach teams. 

Only 44 more signatures needed to reach 1000. Why is that milestone important?

1. Hundreds vs thousands of signatories is evidence of the community’s investment in saving this building which is instrumental in CCF considering the public relations fallout in their decision making process.

2. 1000 signatures means Change.org will advertise our petition more heavily which gives us the opportunity to get even more signatures.
