We have an epidemic in animal care.  The influx in dogs to shelters is overwhelming and not sustainable. 

The Cleveland Browns have long had a "dawg" as mascot.  With the unfortunate passing of Swagger, we implore the Browns to not purchase or receive a dog from a breeder but to rescue a dog from the city shelter.  Cleveland Animal Care and Control is the shelter for the city of Cleveland. They cannot refuse intake. Stray dogs in Cleveland all end up here. With unprecedented intake, the need for adoptions, owner redemption and awareness of spay and neuter couldn't be higher.  

We implore the Browns to choose to rescue from the community. Cleveland has a robust shelter/rescue community and numerous positive reinforcement trainers to leverage. There is bound to be at fit in the community.

Help raise awareness and give a dog in need a good home.
