Father's Day can be a difficult day for my family. Now 61-years-old, my Dad has been in prison since 1988. December 2015 will mark the 27th year that my father will have languished in prison due to mass incarceration. What he received -- what all of us who love him received -- was not just punishment, but a sentence that amounts to something cruel and unusual. But thanks to you, my Father now has nearly 40,000 people supporting him -- more than ever before.
